Copyright is intended to protect the specific way in which an article is written to present an experiment and its results. Energy Insights is committed to protecting and maintaining the works and reputations of its authors and takes accusations of infringement, plagiarism, ethical disputes, and fraud very seriously. Energy Insights is published under the terms of the Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the first publication rights (both online and print) for their work simultaneously. We use the ShareAlike license as follows:
BY (Attribution): Users are allowed to share, distribute, and reproduce the published article in any medium or format, with appropriate attribution to the authors and the original publication in this journal. Authors are encouraged to post and distribute their articles immediately upon publication (e.g., institutional or public repositories, personal websites). Authors are allowed to make additional non-exclusive distribution arrangements with proper acknowledgment of the initial publication in this journal.
SA (ShareAlike): Users who distribute the published article, whether in its original or modified format, must do so under the same license (CC BY-SA 4.0) or a compatible license. Users are not permitted to use the work in a way that contradicts this license, such as creating non-share-alike works or removing attribution to the original authors. Authors explicitly grant Energy Insights the right to include the published article in databases, repositories, and indexing services.

1. License to Publish
The non-commercial use of the article will be governed by the Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). The author hereby grants Energy Insights an exclusive publishing and distribution license for the manuscript, including tables, illustrations, and any other material submitted as part of the manuscript (the "Article"). This license grants Energy Insights the rights to publish, distribute, and reproduce the Article in print, electronic formats, and all other media (whether now known or later developed), in any form, in all languages, and throughout the world, for the full term of copyright. The author grants the right to Energy Insights to license others to do the same, effective once the article is accepted for publication. This license also includes the right to enforce the rights granted hereunder against third parties. Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, others are free to share, copy, and adapt the Article, provided that they attribute the work to the original author and share any derivative works under the same license.
2. Author’s Warranties
The author warrants that the article is original, written by stated author/s, has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).
3. User Rights
Under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) license, the author(s) and users are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material). Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Additionally, if the material is modified or built upon, users must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.
4. Rights of Authors
Authors retain the following rights under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0):

Copyright and other proprietary rightsrelated to the article, such as patent rights.

The right to use the substance of the article in future works, including lectures, books, and other scholarly works, as long as the original work is properly attributed.

The right to reproduce the article for personal use, provided the copies are not offered for commercial purposes or sold.

The right to share and remix the article, even commercially, as long as they provide appropriate credit to the original authors, and if the article is modified, the new work will be licensed under the same terms (ShareAlike).

5. Co-Authorship
If the article was prepared jointly with other authors, the signatory of this form warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this agreement.
6. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by Energy Insights or its sublicensee.
7. Miscellaneous
Energy Insights will publish the article (or have it published) in the Journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and Energy Insights or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. Energy Insights may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and usage that it deems appropriate.
