Pengembangan Media Video Animasi Jendela Karir Untuk Meningkatkan Kematangan Karir Siswa

This research aims to develop “Jendela Karir” animated video media to improve the career maturity of SMA Negeri 6 Bulukumba students. The background includes the difficulty of students choosing a career, the limited time of BK services, and the limitations of BK teachers. The development used the Borg & Gall model which was simplified into eight stages, involving material validators, media experts, counseling teachers, and 30 students. The results showed: (1) Animated videos are needed to help career selection; (2) The prototype was developed based on Holland's theory (RIASEC), featuring six personality types and job examples; (3) Validation by material and media experts showed very valid results (90% and 92.5%); (4) Effectiveness test with paired sample t-test showed a significance of 0.000 <0.05, proving a significant increase between pretest and posttest. In conclusion, the animated video “Jendela Karir” is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students' career maturity.
