Archiving Policy

The Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics ensures the sustainability and long-term security of access to all published articles through a reliable digital archiving policy. We employ the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archiving systems to guarantee that content remains accessible even in the event of system failure or technical disasters.

  1. LOCKSS
This journal integrates with the LOCKSS system, allowing partner libraries to create permanent and authentic archives. The system functions to preserve content in a decentralized manner, with multiple copies stored in various locations, ensuring secure and guaranteed access for readers and institutions in the future.

  2. CLOCKSS
In addition to LOCKSS, we also utilize CLOCKSS, a community-based digital archiving system with high security standards. CLOCKSS enables controlled, distributed archive repositories, ensuring that our journal articles remain permanently accessible even in cases where access to the primary server is disrupted.

By integrating with both the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems, we are committed to supporting the long-term preservation and permanent access to all published content in this journal, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of global scientific knowledge.

Furthermore, the Journal of Electrical Engineering and Informatics submits its article manuscripts to the Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) database as the central journal database in Indonesia.
