The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The subjects in this research were seaweed farmers in Palajau Village, Arungkeke District, Jeneponto Regency. This research produces a seaweed dryer using an Arduino Uno equipped with an Oled LCD. The result of this research is a prototype seaweed dryer that uses a temperature sensor to detect temperature and humidity, a heater to dry seaweed, a fan to distribute heat in the drying room and an Oled LCD to display temperature and humidity. In terms of Functionality and Usability, the results of the functionality feasibility percentage were 100% and as many as 10 respondents or 100% assessed that the tool developed based on the Usability context was at 100% in the very good category. Based on the results of testing seaweed using this dryer, the drying time for seaweed is 4-5 hours until the seaweed is dry with a capacity of 4 Kg for drying seaweed once.
2024-10-10T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Sarah Dewi, Udin Sidik Sidin, Yunus Tjandi, Massikki, Abdul Muis Mappalotteng http://journal.unm.ac.id/index.php/JEENI/article/view/4503 DEVELOPMENT OF WATER QUALITY MONITORING SYSTEM IN SHRIMP PONDS BASED ON INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT) 2024-10-11T17:00:56+08:00 Musdalifah Musdalifah musdalifah0827@gmail.com Ruslan Ruslan ruslan.ft@unm.ac.id Zulhajji Zulhajji zulhajji@unm.ac.id
This type of research is research and development (R&D) which uses the waterfall development model. The aim of this research is to produce a water quality monitoring system in shrimp ponds based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and to find out the results of testing the development of the system using the ISO 25010 standard. This development involves the application of ESP32, Relay, Toa Siren, DS18b20 Temperature Sensor, pH Sensor Module 4502C, Water Salinity and Turbidity Sensor which allows users to get real-time pond water quality monitoring information via the Telegram application. The test results for the reliability aspect have met the fault tolerance sub-characteristic standards because the percentage of measurement error obtained for the temperature sensor was 0.10%, pH 0.54%, salinity 1.19%, and turbidity 1.00%, still within the permitted tolerance limits. Functionality suitability testing shows that this tool obtains a percentage of 100%, indicating that the system is suitable for use. This tool also meets the portability aspect because it can be used on various devices with different operating systems. Apart from that, the usability evaluation results from user responses are in the very good category with an average of >4.2.
2024-10-11T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Musdalifah, Ruslan, Zulhajji http://journal.unm.ac.id/index.php/JEENI/article/view/4552 STUDY ON THE TESTING OF POWER BREAKERS (PMT) IN THE 150 KV TRANSFORMER BAY AT THE PANAKKUKANG SUBSTATION 2024-10-11T12:16:34+08:00 Fardian Salam Fardiansalam10@gmail.com Fathahillah Fathahillah fathahillah@unm.ac.id Zulhajji Zulhajji zulhajji@unm.ac.id
The Circuit Breaker (PMT) plays a very important role in the substation system because the PMT is the equipment responsible for disconnecting the load current during a disturbance. This study aims to determine the results of insulation resistance testing, contact resistance testing, and simultaneity of the Circuit Breaker (PMT), evaluate the quality of the PMT, and determine the results of the NGR (Neutral Grounding Resistor) testing at the Panakkukang Substation. This research employs a quantitative method using an ex post facto research design. The research was conducted at PT. PLN (Persero) Panakkukang Substation, with the object being the 150 kV transformer bay Circuit Breaker (PMT). The results obtained from this study show that the insulation materials and contact components of the Circuit Breaker installed in transformer bay 2 are still in good and safe condition. The Circuit Breaker can trip according to normal simultaneity performance. The quality of the PMT is still in safe and operational condition, and the NGR (Neutral Ground Resistor) test results for transformer bay 2 indicate that it is still in good and safe condition.
2024-10-11T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Fardian Salam, Fathahillah, Zulhajji http://journal.unm.ac.id/index.php/JEENI/article/view/4537 DESIGN AND BUILD A STUDENT ATTENDANCE APPLICATION AT MADRASAH ALIYAH POMPANUA BONE DISTRICT BASED ON ANDROID 2024-10-10T17:36:58+08:00 Dyah Vitalocca dyah_vitalocca2@unm.ac.id Muhammad Yahya ft.yahya@unm.ac.id Syafar Syafar Syafar@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the results of the design and effectiveness of the application as well as determine the responses of users of the Android-based student attendance application at Madrasah Aliyah Pompanua, Bone Regency. This research uses an R&D (Research and Development) type of research that uses the waterfall development model. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. This application testing uses the ISO/IEC 25010 quality standard which covers 4 aspects including functional suitability, performance efficiency, usability and protability. The application testing results used ISO/IEC 25010 quality, namely the functional suitability aspect testing was carried out by two system experts, and it was found that this application was in the very good category to use. Performance efficiency aspect testing was carried out using the Android Studio profiler by measuring real-time data for CPU, memory and network when the application was used, and the test results obtained good values. Usability aspect testing was carried out by teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Pompanua Bone Regency using a questionnaire and it was found that this application was in the very good category. Protability aspect testing is carried out by running the application using an Android device in various Android versions. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the Android-based student attendance application at Madrasah Aliyah Pompanua, Bone Regency is acceptable for use as a medium that makes it easier for teachers to take attendance and recap student absences at Madrasah Aliyah Pompanua, Bone Regency
2024-10-11T00:00:00+08:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Dyah Vitalocca, Muhammad Yahya, Syafar http://journal.unm.ac.id/index.php/JEENI/article/view/4507 THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTING OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ON THE WORK PRODUCTIVITY EMPLOYEES OF PT.
