Plagiarism Policy
The Editorial Team of Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and therefore establishes the following policy, which specifies specific actions (sanctions) if plagiarism is identified in an article submitted for publication in Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics.
Definition:
Plagiarism is the act of intentionally or unintentionally obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or recognition for a scientific work by quoting part or all of the work and/or scientific work of another party as their own scientific work, without properly and adequately citing the source.
Therefore:
- Articles must be original, never published before, and not under review for publication elsewhere. Material taken verbally from other sources must be clearly identified to ensure it differs from the original text.
- If plagiarism is identified, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and taking appropriate action based on the level of detected plagiarism, following these guidelines:
Levels of Plagiarism:

Copying a small portion of short sentences from another article without citing the source.
Action: The author is warned and asked to revise the text and cite correctly. -
Copying a significant portion of another article without proper citation and without citing the source.
Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics, and the author may be sanctioned by being prohibited from publishing in the journal.
All authors are responsible for the content of their articles because they are required to sign a Publication Ethics Statement/Letter of Originality for Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics. If the article is deemed to contain plagiarism, all authors will be subjected to the same action.
If an author is found to have submitted a manuscript to Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics while simultaneously submitting it to another journal, and this overlap is discovered during the review process or after publication, sanctions will be applied as stated in point 2 above.
If plagiarism outside the above rules is detected, the editors of Journal of Electrical Engginering and Informatics reserve the right to impose sanctions according to the editorial team's policy.
