HUBUNGAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP DENGAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Ex Post Facto bersifat korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik serta mengetahui hubungan pemahaman konsep dengan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran fisika kelas XII MIA di SMAN 1 Tinambung tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XII MIA SMAN 1 Tinambung tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dan sampelnya berjumlah 44 peserta didik yang dipilih secara acak. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes dalam bentuk soal uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa hasil tes pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik  kelas XII MIA di SMAN 1 Tinambung tahun ajaran 2021/2022 berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 43,18% dan 65,91%. Hubungan kedua variabel memiliki hubungan positif dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,82.

This research is a correlational Ex Post Facto that aims to describe the ability of concepts understanding and critical thinking skills of student and to determine the relation between the conceptual understanding with critical thinking skill in physics learning XII MIA at SMAN 1 Tinambung for 2021/2022 academic year. The variable in this study are concepts understanding and critical thinking skills.. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIA SMAN 1 Tinambung  for the academic year 2020/2021 and the sample are 44 students who were randomly selected. The research datas were obtained by giving a written test in the form of essay. Data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics and parametric inferential statistics. Based on the data analysis result, it was obtained that the test result of the concepts understanding and critical thinking skills of students class XII MIA at SMAN 1 Tinambung in the 2021/2022 academic year  were in the medium category with percentage about 43,18% and 65,91%. The relation of the two variables has a positive relation with a correlation coefficient of 0,82.
