VO2MAX LEVEL OF BARRANG LOMPO SMA STUDENTS REVIEWED FROM DIVE ABILITY

Abstrak

VO2Max Level of Barrang Lompo High School Students in terms of Diving Ability. Thesis, Sport Science Faculty of Sport Science, Makassar State University. (Supervised by Sarifin and Abdul Rahman). The formulation of the problem in this study is how the vo2max level of Barrang Lompo High School students in terms of diving ability. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative. In this research design, the sample was determined using purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique whose characteristics or characteristics are known in advance based on the characteristics or characteristics of the population. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and normality test. Based on the results of research related to the VO2Max Level of Barrang Lompo High School Students in terms of Diving Ability. There is a relationship between VO2Max and diving ability with a sample value of 15. Pearson's correlation coefficient is (r) = 0.968 with a significance of 0.05. This proves that there is a relationship between VO2Max and diving ability. The better a person's VO2Max level, the longer the duration or time of diving.
