THE EFFECT OF INTERVAL RUNNING TRAINING ON ANAEROBIC ENDURANCE IN MEMBERS OF THE RUNTORAJA COMMUNITY

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of interval running training on anaerobic endurance in members of the Runtoraja community. The type of research that will be used in this study is quantitative descriptive analysis. In this research design, research subjects were selected by purposive sampling based on certain characteristics, research so that the research subjects were homogeneous. While data analysis uses SPSS version 20 using descriptive tests, normality tests and hypothesis tests. Based on the results of data analysis before the application of interval running training, an average fatigue index value of 3.9894 was obtained and obtained a P value of 0.000 (P<0.05), fatigue index data after the application of interval running training obtained an average fatigue index value of 2.2550 and obtained a P value of 0.000 (P<0.05), and it was also seen that there was a difference in the average value of the fatigue index of 1.7344. While samples that were not given interval training treatment obtained fatigue index data values before without the application of interval running training obtained an average fatigue index value of 3.5900 and obtained a P value of 0.000 (P<0.05), fatigue index data after without the application of interval running training obtained an average fatigue index value of 3.6644 and obtained a P value of 0.000 (P<0.05), and it can also be seen that there is a difference in the average fatigue index value of -0.0744. There was a difference between the two groups where the experimental group had a larger average. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of interval running training on anaerobic endurance in members of the Runtoraja community.
