Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 122 Barru. This research aims to determine the process of using animated video media in the Project Based learning model to increase the science and science learning motivation of class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 122 Barru. In this research, a qualitative method was used with the type of classroom action research. Twenty fifth grade students and teachers at UPTD SD Negeri 122 Barru were the research subjects. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. Based on the data, it shows that there are various changes in the learning process after implementing classroom actions, namely students become more focused in paying attention to the material being explained by the teacher which is packaged in video form. Apart from that, it can also increase students' learning motivation. In Cycle I there were 20 students who had sufficient learning motivation and there were still 5 students who were classified as low. In Cycle II, 25 students were classified as having very high learning motivation. It can be concluded that the use of animated video media in the Project Based learning model can improve the learning process and science learning motivation in class V UPTD students at SD Negeri 122 Barru.
