Pengaruh Penggunaan Video Pembelajaran dalam Setting Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw Terhadap Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran dalam setting model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw terhadap motivasi belajar biologi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Makassar dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran dalam setting model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan desain posttest-only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas biologi peminatan kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. Sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak (random sampling). Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 89,3% dimana persentasenya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 81,5%. Adapun hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi sebesar 17,9% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya 11,1%, serta memiliki persentase pada kategori sangat rendah sebesar 29,6%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan distribusi frekuensi analisis deskriptif penggunaan video dalam setting model pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar biologi siswa.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of learning videos in the setting of jigsaw cooperative learning model on the biology learning motivation of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Makassar and to determine the effect of the use of learning videos in the setting of jigsaw cooperative learning model on the biology learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. The research method used was a type of pseudo-experimental research using posttest-only control design. The population of this study was all biology classes specialization class XI SMA Negeri 2 Makassar. The research sample was conducted by random sampling. Data analysis used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, student learning motivation in the experimental class with a high category amounted to 89.3% where the percentage was higher than the control class of 81.5%. The student learning outcomes in the experimental class were in the high category of 17.9% while in the control class only 11.1%, and had a percentage in the very low category of 29.6%. Therefore, it can be concluded that based on the frequency distribution of descriptive analysis, the use of video in the setting of the jigsaw cooperative learning model affects the motivation and learning outcomes of students' biology.
