About the Journal

Indoensian Journal of Educational Technology (IJ-ET) is a peer-refereed open-access international journal which has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of educational technology. This journal is founded under the collaboration between the Postgraduate Program, State University of Makassar and Indonesian Educational Technology Study Program Association (APS TPI) with MoU. Starting from 2017, IJ-ET would be published two times in a year (Mei, and November). All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of two International Reviewers through the double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal. |
Current Issue
The studies reviewed highlight significant advancements in educational practices, exploring diverse approaches such as digital technology, holistic development, and innovative teaching methods. Key findings emphasize the integration of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains to foster well-rounded student development, with a particular focus on Problem-Based and Project-Based Learning as effective strategies. Additionally, the utilization of Digital Twin technology demonstrates promising applications in immersive training, smart campus management, and adaptive learning environments, although challenges such as infrastructure and security remain. Furthermore, the application of Köhler’s insight learning theory is linked to the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, reinforcing the need for deeper conceptual understanding in modern educational settings. The exploration of sociodrama methods, particularly through Bugis folklore, showcases its effectiveness in improving speaking skills and boosting student motivation and confidence.
