Application of the Whisper Chain Game in Improving the Arabic Listening Ability of Integrated Islamic Elementary School Students

Abstract

Data were collected using tests and observations. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two sessions. The results revealed that the average scores of students' listening skills in Cycle I were 80, while in Cycle II, the average scores increased to 96. These findings indicate a significant improvement in students' Arabic listening skills when employing the Chain Whisper Game method. From these findings, it can be concluded that the Chain Whisper Game method is effective in enhancing students' Arabic listening skills. This approach provides students with opportunities for more active engagement in the learning process, facilitating a deeper understanding and utilization of the Arabic language. This study has important implications for educational practitioners in designing learning strategies focused on developing Arabic listening skills.
