Abstract

This study adopts a descriptive approach with the aim of illustrating the outcomes of learning Nahwu science using Al Miftah Lil ‘Ulum among students and identifying influencing factors. The research involved a sample of 24 students from the 11th-grade Salafiyah class at Madrasah Aliyah Annahdlah Makassar. Research instruments included interviews, tests, and questionnaires. From the data analysis, it was found that the learning outcomes of Nahwu science using Al Miftah Lil ‘Ulum among the students fell into the "Passed" category, with students achieving scores between 50-74, categorized as maqbul criteria. Internal factors encompassed enjoyable learning processes, students' interest and talent in Arabic language learning using Al Miftah Lil ‘Ulum, effective learning processes, and ease of understanding the materials. On the other hand, external factors involved the influence of family environment, school programs, and classmates on Nahwu science learning outcomes. Student motivation, the psychological function of Al Miftah Lil ‘Ulum, the impact of communication, social and cultural influences from the community, as well as a learning method that relies on auditory perception, also influenced learning outcomes. In conclusion, Al Miftah Lil ‘Ulum provides benefits and facilitates students in understanding Nahwu science, yet certain factors need attention to enhance the effectiveness of this learning approach.
