Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Arabic language films on the listening skills of eleventh-grade students at Hj. Haniah Islamic Senior High School in Maros Regency. The independent variable in this study is Arabic language films, while the dependent variable is the ability to listen to Arabic language. The population in this study consisted of all eleventh-grade students at Hj. Haniah Islamic Senior High School, totaling 51 students from 4 classes, with a total sample of 15 students from the Natural Sciences class for Girls. Data were obtained from pre-tests and post-tests. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Paired Sample t-test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of Arabic language films on the listening skills of eleventh-grade students at Hj. Haniah Islamic Senior High School in Maros Regency.
