Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of political education in building citizenship awareness among adolescents. The low level of political participation among adolescents indicates a lack of understanding and awareness of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. Political education is necessary to provide knowledge and insights to adolescents so that they have a strong awareness of democracy, human rights, gender equality, tolerance, conflict prevention, and other citizenship issues. This study utilizes a qualitative method with data collection techniques including literature review, observation, and interviews.
