Exploring the Essence of Entrepreneurship: A Vital Pillar in Building the Nation's Economic Prosperity

The economic issues that continue to be discussed in Indonesia today are always a matter of concern, fluctuating with significant increases and decreases. However, the existence of entrepreneurship is expected to make a positive contribution to the Indonesian economy. This research aims to explore how vital the role of entrepreneurship is for the nation's economic progress. Qualitative methods were used in this research, by collecting data through literature study. The research results show that entrepreneurship has a crucial role in supporting the national economy, especially through the creation of new jobs. Every business tends to experience difficulties if it is run individually, so companies or individuals involved in business often open up job opportunities to support the development of their business.
